After discussion and brainstorming, the group and I decided that we no longer wanted to include horror or black comedy, instead we wanted to focus on the social realism aspect of the storyline. After this decision, we furthered our knowledge and understanding of social realism films by watching trailers that related back to the same genre with similar storylines. It was very useful watching these as we were inspired by some of the techniques and colouring. As well as this, it aided us in deciding which parts of the storyline to include and how to present them best.
